Overview
Design Management | Procurement Management | Risk Management | Project Management | Environmental Management | WHS Management The revitalisation of Lower Clarinda Street has been designed to address many of these specific issues. The project included the following elements: Demolition of existing footpaths, curbs and gutters and removal of existing street furniture. New roads, curbs and gutters. New drainage and new footpaths, including new crossings and retaining walls. New street furniture, including bollard, bins, bicycle racks, bench seats, drinking fountains, as well as new entry signage. New landscaping, including street trees, garden beds, turf and associated irrigation. New street lighting, including smart street lights.

Challenge
Clarinda street is a vibrant part of the town and always busy with customers. Construction work had to be done in a way to minimise the impact on locals and businesses alike.
Impact
Significant improvements to the Clarinda Street experience for shoppers and tourists. Better traffic flow and parking. Reduced stormwater impacts.
